A Few Words
Aneesh Kuttiyerimmal (aby)
My name is Aneesh Kuttiyerimmal (but call me Aby). I am currently working as an UI/UX designer, independent filmmaker and writer. My first experience was as a graphic designer for Reflections where I worked as a Freelance web designer, administering and leading a few web designing & development projects. After that, I was working with various Hospitality (Hudini) projects in Android, IOS (Mobile & Tab Apps ), Web and TV UI Designs also with Arowana.
I hold a B.Sc. Graphic Design degree from Manipal University (Bangalore Campus India) and I am associated with Arowana Consulting Limited.
In childhood itself I started writing short stories and poems (non-professional), I then started an ambition to become a filmmaker from a young age and I worked on 25 + short films, videos, and documentaries in the role of Actor, Writer, Director Cinematographer, Editor, Producer, and Director (2011-2020).
My professional skills include Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Mock UP Software, HTML, CSS & JSON, and Microsoft Office. I would define myself as a creative and hardworking individual, always making sure to maintain healthy and productive communication.
I got many opportunities such as Dream Team Award in May 2016. I also happened to be associated with Arowana Consulting Limited. I also received awards for Online Cinema Talkies, and Broken Angel (short film) and finally got the Best Movie Award (for editing) in April-June 2013.
When it comes to my hobbies, I love cricket (Play & Watch on TV ), I am a music addict, and I also happen to like travel, cooking, and obviously: Video Production!
If I’m asked to describe myself in a few words, I would say a nationalist, a god believer, a yoga lover, a cupid, and a dreamer.
Born in a traditional Kalari family in Kozhikode Calicut (Mukkam, District), I am blessed to be surrounded by supportive relatives, my mother, my siblings, my wife, and my son in particular. It is thanks to them that I am the person I am today.
I strongly believe that every individual has a unique life.
Live for yourself and let others live as well.
I’ll bend over backward to help others’ dreams come true, but I also understand the importance of standing your ground and holding your own.
Oh… and when I’m not at work or in denial about having a social life, I’m at home mentoring my favorite munchkin. Family is everything! Right?
